Papers for Refereeing

    Paper format
    Papers should be no more than 3000 words and be formatted according to the guidelines. Please take note of the criteria (set out below) against which papers will be refereed.

    Paper submission
    Papers should be submitted electronically to teach@debretts.com.au by Friday, 14 November 2003.

    Refereeing process
    Submitted papers will be forwarded to referees for blind refereeing to comply with DEST refereed conference paper standards. They will recommend whether or not the paper should be accepted for inclusion in the refereed publication. Full papers submitted for double blind review are expected to meet the following criteria:

      Importance/applicability: How important is this topic for university teachers and how applicable is the research to the target audience?
      Quality of the research: Does the paper take into account current research and thinking on the topic?
      Readability: Is the paper clearly written, concise and well organised?
      Relevance to target audience: Does the paper relate well to its target audience, university teachers, and to the conference theme: Seeking Educational Excellence?

    Refereed Publication
    All refereed papers will be published digitally.
