Sarah coordinates Student Learning services on the Rockingham campus. This includes teaching TLC120 Introduction to University Learning, offering students individual consultations for any academic and learning issues, coordinating general and unit-specific learning skills workshops, and maintaining the Student Learning Resource Centre.
Sarah has an academic background in Education and is completing a PhD on the politics of tourism in Fremantle. She has a deep interest in education as both a process and as an institution; and her praxis is based on ideas aligned with both collaborative and independent learning.
Sarah enjoys interacting with staff and students across disciplines and levels of academic progress. She particularly enjoys the diversity of experiences and skills associated with being the Student Learning Coordinator at Rockingham, and being a part of the TLC and Murdoch University. |
