How to enrol in the workshops

Sign up for Murdoch Campus workshops at the Student Learning Notice Board, Library, North Wing Level 4, Room 4.007.

Rockingham and Peel students are welcome to attend South Street workshops. However, specific workshops for Rockingham and Peel will be advertised on each campus. For enquiries, please phone 9360 2142. Student Learning services are also available at Rockingham (phone: 9553 7085; email: S.Veitch@murdoch.edu.au) and Peel (phone: 9582 5530; email: P.Arena@murdoch.edu.au) campuses - please contact Sarah or Phil for further information.

Other campus workshops

Library workshops on research and referencing skills are run regularly.

  • South Street, Murdoch: Bookings are essential. Please book at the Library Reference Desk on North Wing Level 3. Workshops are held in Library Training Lab (Room 1.015) on South Wing Level 1.
  • Rockingham: Sign up at Library Helpdesk.
  • Peel: please enquire at the Library or the Library Reference Desk in the Learning Common (Peel Building 101).

Counselling workshops on managing stress, procrastination and exam anxiety are held regularly. Please book at Health & Counselling, Bush Court, Social Sciences building. Phone: 9360 2293.

Come and learn the conventions of referencing, including in-text referencing and direct quotations, and what constitutes acceptable paraphrasing.

Grammar workshops for all students
