Student Learning Resource Centre

Where is the Centre?

Library level 4 North Wing on the Murdoch campus.

On the Rockingham campus the Resource Centre is located in the Library.

Who can use the Centre?

The Student Learning Resource Centre caters for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Materials for staff on teaching learning skills are also included in the collection.

What does the Centre contain?

The centre contains a wide range of materials including books, videos, audio tapes and handouts (many of them free). Most materials can be borrowed if you have a Murdoch library card.

Facilities for the development of a wide range of language and academic skills including, literacy, English language, numeracy, research skills, study skills and social interaction skills.

Experienced tutors are on hand to help with any study related matter.

When is the Centre open?

The Resource Centre is open Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm, during teaching weeks.

Consulting staff are available to meet with individual students in the Resource Centre on:

Monday afternoon: 1.00-4.30
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings: 9.30-1.00.

Students can drop in during opening hours for brief (10 mins or less) individual consultations or to borrow materials.

"Drop-In" Desk

A Drop-In Desk operates in the Library during weeks 1-4 from 1.30-2.30 for quick queries and is located on North-South Library link, level 3 (entry level).
