Division of Arts Research Workshops for Postgraduate Students:
This programme consists of three one-day workshops covering the beginning, middle and final stages
of producing a thesis. Each workshop will deal with research, data, writing and organisational issues,
and involves input from "experts" as well as maximum participation from postgraduates. The
programme is jointly facilitated by A/Prof Bev Thiele (Arts) and Dr Julia Hobson (Teaching & Learning
Centre). Various guest speakers from around the University will present material at different workshops.
The Workshops will be held at the Flexible Teaching and Learning Room, in the Library North Wing,
Room 4.040. They start promptly at 9.30am and finish at 4.00pm, with a half-hour break for lunch.
An arrival time no later than 9.15am is requested.
