Staff development

There are several opportunities for staff development within the School Development Process.

Graduate attribute mapping

Unit Coordinators are assisted in mapping their units against the graduate attributes. This provides Unit Coordinators the opportunity for reflection and feedback from a critical friend.

Consultations

Individual Unit Coordinators are encouraged to contact the TLC to discuss how they might employ fresh approaches to their units, such as creating better learning objectives, reviewing assessment methods, investigating flexible learning or alternative teaching strategies.

Seminars

Seminars are offered in a range of curriculum related topics including:

• Aligned curriculum
• Flexible learning
• Assessment
• Group work
• Student-centred learning
• Alternative teaching strategies

The TLC will respond to requests for other topics selected by a School.
