Curriculum alignment

Curriculum alignment refers to the way assessment, learning activities and content match and support the learning objectives.

The Graduate Attribute Mapping Program provides a method for recording alignment. The alignment report provides unit coordinators with information they can use to assess their unit structure and if necessary adjust the key unit elements so that they align.

The alignment process can entail refining objectives, adding some objectives not previously articulated and reviewing how effectively the other elements contribute to the learning outcomes unit coordinators want for their students.
