Teaching & Learning Forum

The Teaching & Learning Forum is on in a few weeks' time on 3 & 4 February 2005 at Murdoch University. This year's Forum promises to be an exciting opportunity for the expected 200 delegates to reflect on their roles as teaching practitioners in the higher education sector.

The forum will stimuate discussion about the 'big picture' issues in the opening plenary address by Professor Lesley Parker from The Carrick Institute. These issues will be raised again from a different perspective on the second day by the opening panel of invited guests from ECU, UWA, Curtin University and Murdoch University, who will discuss the current agenda for change in the higher education sector by the Hon Dr Brendan Nelson MP to a tertiary education model of teaching-only and research-only institutions.

There are over 80 fascinating presentations on the specific teaching and learning issues that we all face as reflective practitioners and details of the program are on the website at http://www.tlc.murdoch.edu.au/tlf/2005/ and registrations are still open.
