2. Some of these items may be provided online instead. Students need to be advised of how to access all relevant information.

Are you using the most recent unit template?

 

Are cover and preliminary pages up to date and correct?

Is information about the unit clearly separated from the teaching content?

Does the Unit Guide include a table of contents covering both the unit information and learning guide sections?

Are key URLs such as ECMS clearly indicated?

Are students given information about prerequisites and how the unit relates to the overall structure of the programme of study?

Are the unit aims, learning objectives and graduate attributes clear?

Is there clear and logical organisation of the knowledge base, such as division of content into topics/sections/modules?

Are details about the unit coordinator and tutor, including contact arrangements, presented in one easily accessible location?

Is there clear guidance to students on how and when to use the materials, for example, when to listen to accompanying audio recordings or access online links and articles in the reader?

Are details of participation requirements clear?

Is information about assessment presented in one easily accessible location?

Is textbook information up to date?

Are bibliographic and library details included?

Are details of kit loans (if used) complete?

Are audio/video/CDs (if used) listed?

Are details about the referencing format students are expected to use included and do your references model this method?

Are students advised to keep copies of assignments?

Does the assessment for the unit include a supervised component, where relevant?
