Unit Coordinator reviews the process for going

Unit Coordinator submits a request for an online unit from the link to the Online Unit
Request System from the MyTeaching tab in the staff portal, then sets up the unit for their
teaching. |
Two weeks before an online unit is to be made available to students |
LMS staff activate the unit on the learning management system (LMS).
Students are able to access the unit. |
The nominated activation date (normally 1 week before start of teaching period) |
| Unit Coordinators request Lectopia (audio recordings) through Bookings in
Lectopia (BiL). |
2 weeks before the first lecture |
| Unit Coordinators request CDs of recorded lectures for equity students and
those with poor internet access. |

Unit Coordinators place timetable requests with Office of Commercial
Services. Note: Some laboratory bookings etc are handled within the Division. |

Unit Coordinators request exemption to the Assessment Policy through
the Assessment Committee where the assessment methods do not meet policy requirements. |

| Examination/assessment requirement advice is provided to the Examinations
Office (Open Book, calculators etc). |

| Examination papers are delivered to the Examinations Office, Office of Central

| Unit Coordinators download latest unit list from Callista and return completed
Results/Final Assessment electronically to the Division Student Administration Office. |
No exam: Thursday of last week of assessment
Exam in first week: Monday of the following week
Exam in second week: Wednesday of subsequent week |
Unit Administration |
Unit Coordinators check Callista for numbers of students and download a class
list in Excel for tutorial and assignment records. |
