Timeline and Key Dates

The Guide for Unit Quality aims to assist staff at Murdoch University in the preparation of high quality, flexible units that implement aligned curriculum.

NOTE: 1. Graduate Attribute mapping is a valuable tool for curriculum alignment.
  2. New units will be developed according to the flexible unit model and existing units will be converted by 2009.

Unit Quality Standards

The Guide for Unit Quality is organised around standards for the production and delivery of curriculum endorsed by Academic Council in 1998 and reviewed in 2004.

For each Unit Quality Standard there is:

  •  a list of features
  •  ways to achieve them (some have a checklist)
  •  examples to illustrate good practice
  •  a list of resources.
