In 2008 the Western Australian chapter of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of
Australasia is hosting a series of events featuring local researchers. This year there are four seminars
and HERDSA rekindled.

Scholarship profiled: Cutting edge investigation into teaching and learning in
higher education
These seminars by local researchers into aspects of teaching and learning in higher education make
links between their research and current teaching practice. Sessions are one hour in length with at
least half of that time devoted to discussion.
