Project Description

The online tutorial in information research skills for postgraduate students is designed to teach general principles which students apply to the information research process (information literacy). The tutorial is used in a number of formal research methods subjects, usually as a complement to class contact. In some classes students are referred to the tutorial for follow-up work. It is also available on the Library website for use independently by students.

The tutorial is still under development - there are three units developed, and another two planned. In the evaluation project, we want to look at the effectiveness of the tutorial as a learning tool.
