Welcome to TLC

The Teaching and Learning Centre operates from South Street, Rockingham and Peel campuses to enhance the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning at Murdoch University. It does this by providing leadership and support based on current educational theory and research, working collaboratively with students and academic staff.

The TLC provides direct assistance to both undergraduate and postgraduate students to acquire the language and academic skills required for success at university. Particular attention is paid to students from equity target groups, local and international students for whom English is a second language, and students wishing to develop their numeracy skills. A self-access Student Learning Resource Centre is open in the Library during semester.

A range of educational development services is available, including provision of academic staff development programs, educational design, assistance with internet-based teaching and learning, media production, assistance preparing applications for grants and awards, and research and evaluation for units and courses.
