Restructure of TLC

The Teaching and Learning Centre was restructured in 2010. Each of these areas underpin their services through providing leadership and support based on current educational theory and research, working collaboratively with students and staff.

The Student Learning Centre is now part of Student Life and Learning and provides direct assistance to both undergraduate and postgraduate students to acquire the language and academic skills required for success at university through its offices at the South Street, Rockingham and Peel campuses.

Educational Development operates from the South Street campus and provides a range of educational development services, educational design, assistance with internet-based teaching and learning, assistance preparing applications for grants and awards, and research and evaluation for units and courses.

Organisational Capability will provide appropriate development for all staff within a strategic framework for building organisational capability and engagement and operates from offices on the South Street campus.

The following areas are part of the Division of Academic Affairs:

Equal Opportunity and Social Justice works across Murdoch's campuses to embed social justice in education and endeavours to ensure that educational services are not only accessible to students but also responsive to the needs and aspirations of the diverse student body.
