Restructure of TLC
The Teaching and Learning Centre was restructured in 2010. Each of these areas
underpin their services through providing leadership and support based on current educational
theory and research, working collaboratively with students and staff.
The Student
Learning Centre is now part of Student Life and Learning and provides direct assistance
to both undergraduate and postgraduate students to acquire the language and academic skills
required for success at university through its offices at the South Street, Rockingham and
Peel campuses.
Educational
Development operates from the South Street campus and provides a range of educational
development services, educational design, assistance with internet-based teaching and learning,
assistance preparing applications for grants and awards, and research and evaluation for
units and courses.
Organisational Capability will provide appropriate
development for all staff within a strategic framework for building organisational capability
and engagement and operates from offices on the South Street campus.
